        Q: Who is this trip suitable for?
        This is a moderate to challenging high-mountain trek. It is suitable for travelers with good physical condition, some previous hiking/trekking experience, and readiness for long days on the trail and basic mountain conditions.

        Q: How long is the trip and the trek itself?
        The full expedition lasts 16 days / 15 nights, with about 7 trekking days and 6 nights in tents in the Central Pamir mountains.

        Q: What altitude will we reach? Is altitude sickness a risk?
        The trek takes place at high altitude:

        • Highest point: approx. 4,600 m
        • Highest camp: approx. 4,510 m

        We follow a gradual itinerary, but some risk of altitude sickness exists. Good health, proper acclimatization, hydration, and listening to the guide’s instructions are essential.

        Q: What kind of accommodation is provided?
        You will stay in a mix of:

        • Hotels and guesthouses/hostels in Dushanbe and villages
        • Tents during the trekking part in the mountains

        Accommodation is simple but chosen for safety, location, and local character.

        Q: What meals are included?
        You will have full board during the trek in the mountains (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
        Meals in Dushanbe on the first and last days are not included, unless stated otherwise. A detailed meal plan is provided before departure.

        Q: What are the payment and deposit conditions?
        To confirm your place, a deposit (30%) is required at the time of booking.
        The remaining balance is usually due 30 days before departure.
        Exact payment terms and cancellation policy are shown during the booking process.

        Q: What team will be with us during the trek?
        You will be accompanied by:

        • Pack animal handlers (horses/donkeys) during the trek
        • A cook during the trekking section

        Q: Is travel insurance mandatory?
